The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I continued this year's trend of 12 pics in about 12 minutes with "In & around my front fire escape"
Looking down the long entry hall to the Fire escape.
1/2 way there...
Right at the window.
Looking down at front 'lawn' (leaning over rail).
Looking straight down.
H2O aqueous valve - just in case.
Looking straight up.
Back in, down hallway and a sliver of back window/fire escape light.
Blue shirt self portrait. No audition today though, it's been a little slow. That shit is changing!
Wilshire skyline and you can almost see the mountains through the smog.
Lock 'em up!

Possibly my favorite shot: looking back in with skyline reflection & semi self portrait.
Thanks for looking & see ya next month.

The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I Took a few pics editing and a few after a play reading... and a couple cheats.
Making a cut in Final Cut. Recognize the film?
Levels looking good.
It's another lovely day ...here, and over at La Bertha!
Charlie Brown palm pines for his neighbor.
Reflective pool flanks the Subaru.
A closer look, you can nearly make out my mug.
Here are a few of the ants that crawled on me during "a closer look".
Lovely house with willow in front of said ants and pool.
A polo match.
A dork leaves Pasadena.
These Pasadena neighborhoods remind me of suburban Pittsburgh. Go Steelers!
Bonus cheater pic from a couple weeks ago doing ADR for "The Tortured". This is going to be one hell of a film! Apparently that's my favorite shirt.

The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I took 12 pictures to and/or from my audition.
Going over sides one last time before leaving.
They trimmed the hell outa the palms out front. Personally I think they took away too many leaves & left a little too much husk. Oh, and they raised the rent again. Nice.
Somebody TP'd the back yard with a calculator full of tape.
By request! The obligatory self portrait in a blue* shirt on the way to an audition shot. The trend of having one on the 12th is back. * Yeah, I know green too & some stripes & crap.
Grassy bush (bushy grass?) I parked next to which just happened to be right down the street from a certain writer/director/actor pal I recently worked with again.
The clouds killed the colors on this shot of the outside of the studio the audition was in.
Just outside & back across the street after the somewhat lengthy read that went well, as did yesterday's & Wednesday's.
Blooming tree above the fence beside the bush next to the Subaru, again with color a bit dulled.
Stopping at Pavilions on the way home - A little self promo for Saft & The Graves in my front door pocket.
Citrus pyramid of power & the gentleman who built it.
Have a nice day...seriously, why not?
Can you find the Hollywood sign?

The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I took 12 pictures in about 10 mins. on the way to the Korean market. Was going to take them along my run but it was canceled due to an exciting migraine.

-Where is your stand pipe dude? Well it's right behind this palm tree out front.
-Looking straight up, just outside the front door.
-Across the street is an historic building that looks like it lives in Germany.
-Lacy white flowery stuff in the front garden, can't recall the name of it but it looks like snowy pines in Colorado.
-Paint drippings from the occasional tagging cover up (so douchey, remember when graffiti was art?) and a butt.
-Life through a palm. Just missed the sunset, D'oh!
-That's my corner, can you see the real me?
-The new cookie cutter condo 1/2 a block long has a colorful flower bed.
-I wish more dog owners would heed the call. It makes me angry when I run, I could go on... but how 'bout some gratitude for the good owners instead.
-A couple other neighbors and the blimp...see it? I always wanted to name an Improv team "La Bertha" that was comprised of all residents of my place. We used to have a ton here, down about 1/2.
-Wanted to get a better angle on Mr. Snail but was afraid he'd go inside (& light was fading).

-Bonus pic I took while down at Twisted filling out a leftover form.

The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I took 12 pictures from my seat at brunch with some friends in Venice, can you tell where I am?
Textured mural on the wall to my right.
Hotel to my left.
Our lovely waitress, palms and the Pacific.
No, not that, I only buy sage now. And the edge of 1st mural.
1 shot semi-self portrait with entire table caught in my eye!
Agua fria on steel table, I like it.
Succulent of some type a friend was carrying and it's shadow.
Same turned steel table minus the H2O. Reminds me of the trim on my old '63 Impala SS convertible...I miss that car.
Same friend behind sun umbrella with top of mural (D'oh!).
Close up of dude living in mural. Space? God? Spacegod?
Close up on reflective circle on mural 2 just behind me, same wall.

OK, technically this is 12 or 15 feet away from my table but I could not resist on my way out. Yup, that's a capital "T".

12 of 12 March 09
The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I finally got to do one I've been thinking about: 12 pics in under 12 minutes, on the 12th(of course) on my roof.
-A view looking east (downtown LA) from the east edge of the roof.
-Looking south through the gazebo - that's right, we have a gazebo on out roof.- With added bonus partial self portrait.
-A view through the fire hose pipes to the Wilshire business district area, kinda northeast. I love how these pipes look, will have to get a larger pic someday.
-One of the semi-rotting grills parked in tandem in the once well-used bar-b-q area.
-Down the vent pipe.
-Antenna sky.
-Another style vent pipe with another style partial self portrait.
-Western sunset view from mid roof. It really is quite nice up here.
-Straight north from same mid roof spot.
-Emergency teams down on the street.
-Still life- flaking wrought iron door, with broken chair and gas vent still contraption.
-Looking down into the odd courtyard for 2, parking lot, little garages, and the bottom of the new condo that you saw going up over the past couple years' 12's.

Happy B-Day by the sea!

The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I thought it would be fitting to take all my shots at SAG over about 1 10 minute period. Our guild faces some troubling times right now, say a little prayer for us!
- The top of the fountain out front.
-And the bottom.
-Looking up the eastern front wall...see the logo?
-Foyer Art. Lots of squares.
-Some doofus in an elevator.
-Viking tusk lamp art in lobby, just above the squares. I like the reflection of the (83 degree : ) outside on the right 1/4 of the ceiling.
-75 year logo outside admin.
-Cool original charter type thing in lobby display case.
-Katheryn 1/2 of giant mural in same lobby.
-Meet your officers! You might know some of these Guild pioneers.
-The man behind the curtain action figure! Actually my little tour of the beginnings of SAG here really reemphasized what were fighting for. 'Ol Frank here was a big part of it.
-Gotta have sunny palm trees, just opposite the previous admin area, in the lot.
-Bonus pic! Earlier this week at a cast & crew 1st screening of "The Graves". Look for it soon & keep updated at the new site .

12 of 12 Dec 08
The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I am late and therefore cheating (sweet logic, eh?) but I will be showing you cool pics from our film "Numbers" shoot in Arizona.
Waiting for the sun on the first shot. Thats 'my' cab we're looking at.
Producers Brian & Greg guzzling coffee with me on the balcony whilst continuing the waiting.
Now we're talkin'! This is actually the 2nd cab location.
Goofing with Deano, taken with some filter-type iPhone app.
You really have to be specific, yet gentle if you want people to keep their dirty meat hooks off! Later I passed out the extras to our awesome crew.
Day 2, wrapped as an actor, on to producing & cutting.
Gripping, gaffing, whatever it takes. DP Tim AC Keegan and I can't make out who else.
As a producer you sometimes have to wrangle the flying pony.
Moof.
Coolest pic of the week. Look, it's Amy and Ashlyn.
iPhone dorks, including writer/director/lead Annie.
AZ has good sunsets in both cold...
...and warm color temperatures.
I'll have to post more pics of our great cast & crew, especially if I keep this blog going as some sort of diary of film & acting projects. Lately I just feel overwhelmed by the amount of 'stuff' and places to put your 'stuff' online that I was thinking of ditching the 'ol blog...or maybe just making it an anonymous 12 of 12 monthly deal.. We shall see!

The 12 of 12 is a fun photo essay project started by a guy named Chad (click link) that I try to do every month. This month I gave myself 10 mins. to shoot around the office.
Crusty! With some odd stuff on the left gained in the transfer. Weird.
Gertrude Lippincott. A popular dancer in NY in the late 40's. I bought this pic on ebay. No relation.
Mac light.
Oops, wandered into the edge of the kitchen.
Pic of my first day snowboarding ever...a couple years back at A-Basin. The keen-eyed viewer (especially a skier/boarder) will be able to approximate the year from the gear.
Old fan & defunct Jersey farm Milk bottles.
Whos that lookin at you in that poster?
Some scripts & books. Fuzzy pic but it was a second try so here it is .
Bob! They just tore down the one near me, gotta go up to Burbank now for my 2-2-2 breakfast.
Check, check 1 2.
Thermal print containing 8 stills of me in the teaser trailer for Evolution, my first 'big' Hollywood job. It's in the DVD extras if you buy or rent it. I really should get a frame for this thing.
Sirius radio. I like the blue glow.
Thanks for lookin. And if anyone knows how to make the pictures in Blogger NOT blow-up super-huge when you click on them, please clue me in. Thanks!
