Man this week picked up like crazy. Three auditions today, 2 of them were the same audition (more later...I swear...I mean it this time) And 2 more tomorrow morning. Just gotta love my agent Janet & her assistants at Origin!

Had an audition for a United Way P.S.A. today with Renita Whited. Quick & subtle. I believe this was my first time reading for her however last time in this studio (7700 Sunset) I booked 1/2 of a 2-part audition.

I'm off to Scriptwrights tonight. I'd provide a link but I think out site is down, D'oh.

4 Billion

There are approximately 4 billion commercials playing right now that I auditioned for. A couple that I got called back for. OK. That much closer to the booking. It's a numbers game, even though my numbers may be just a tad off.

In theatrical news, I kicked ass on my tv audition this week. I'll tell you more after the callback. See, I said callback...look at that turn around. Feel the power of positive thinking oozing through this keyboard? Well I do.

And I had a fun audition for AFLAC at Cathi Carlton casting. ...past my bedtime...maybe more tomorrow...although I keep letting a lot of "stuff" go by without writing it down here. Perhaps I'm not meant to or perhaps I'll change.

Actor's Voice

My friend Bonnie's online column at Showfax, "The Actors Voice" gives me a little shout out today. Am I to old to use the term "shout out"? I think so. How about "a nice mention" or "humorously quotes me"? OK. In addition to being a pal and an up & coming Casting Director, Bonnie is also a prolific writer. You should go check out her recently published 2nd edition of "Self Management For Actors". I had the honor of writing a small piece about demo reels for it (I'm also an editor, for those who didn't know) and also got Profiled by Bonnie.
